Section 3, Area T, Region 220
Registration for the 2013-2014 season is CLOSED until the spring season, with the exception of the following divisions:
U5 Boys and Girls
U14 Boys and U19 Co-ed - please contact us for status
Please check the Age Guide link at the top of this page to determine the division in which your child will be placed.
There is processing time required for registrations once the season has started so it is possible that your child will have to wait up to one week to be placed on a team.
The early in-person registration fees are $95 for the first child; $75 for the second child; $65 for additional children. But you have to show up in person during registration; no mailed registration is accepted with these fees.
After May 18, 2013 the registration fees are $110 for the first child; $90 for the second child; $80 for additional children.)
After June 30, 2013 the regular registration fees apply of $150 for the first child; $130 for the second child; $120 for additional children; and waiting lists are possible.
We want to encourage you to sign up on-line and early, which guarantees your children a spot on a team, and makes scheduling easier. We want to grow our reserves rather than tap into it, purchase more equipment, continue the paid coach trainers, and have more volunteers attend the section and national meetings.
Scholarships are available, as well as a chance to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Scholarship-Fund (separate check please, "AYSO Tarrytown").
The fee includes the teamshirt, shorts and socks and a Fall and Spring Session with a great soccer experience.
Check the Age guide.
Each team plays two seasons. The first season starts in the fall, and teams play a full schedule of 8 games, usually from September to November. We resume, with the same teams, in the spring and play from April to June. Each fall, teams are reconstituted, as some players will move up to the next division.
All age groups (except U16 and VIP) will have separate boys and girls teams.
U5, U6 and VIP teams have practice + game on Saturday. Most other teams will have practice on Saturday mornings and games on Sunday afternoons.
U8 and U10 teams are required to supply a referee for home games. This person will get training and a referee shirt, whistle and stopwatch. For more information contact the referee administrator Matthew Evans.
Pre-register on-line at www.eayso.org, make sure to set [Preferences/Region&MY] to MY2013, print out, add and circle uniform size, sign and mail 2 COPIES of the completed form, together with proof of birthday and a check ("AYSO Tarrytown") to our Registrar, Vanessa Mendez, 124 Van Tassel Avenue Fl. 1, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591, tel. 914-733-8959.
If for some reason you need to withdraw, AYSO has the following refund policy: 100% refund before team selection (6/30/12), 50% refund before the season starts (9/1/12), and 0% refund after the season starts (9/1/12).
